When not writing, she is teaching 3rd graders how to read and write while using her own writing experiences to inspire her students. She enjoys traveling to exciting places while researching ideas for stories and novels. She also participates in a Renaissance Acting Guild where she plays a Scottish Noble, plays the Gaelic Harp, and a fairy character. She has been wire-wrapping crystal pendants and selling her jewelry on-line and at craft fairs since 1989. When not doing her hobbies, she enjoys quiet time with her cat and husband. The cat, of course, is the center of
attention.

She is currently working on the third book in the Crystal Keeper Series, "The Lost Secret of Dragonfire" and a YA with Mary, Queen of the Scots.

Anne McCaffrey: The Passing of a Legend

Anne McCaffrey passed away today. I keep searching for ways to express the feelings. I can start with the shock. This is an ending of an era. She created one of the best Sci-Fi/Fantasy worlds.
