“You meet dozens of people who tell you you can't do it. Surround yourself with the people who believe you will do it. Seek out and spend time with those rare people who tell you, no BS, why you haven't done it yet, what it takes to do it, and how they could help you do it. Note how this advice works whether 'it' is robbing a bank, opening a gallery, or writing a bestseller. "It" is up to you. But you can't do it alone.”
Heather Grace Stewart, Three Spaces

“Don't over edit. Don't second-guess yourself, or your ideas. Just write. Write every day, and keep at it. Don't get discouraged with the rejections. Tape them up on your office wall, to remind you of all the hard work you put in when you finally start getting published! It's all about persistence and passion. And have fun with it. Don't forget to have fun.”

Lucinda Dear Heather,
I would like to thank you for being my friend on Goodreads; as i am such an admirer and fan of yourself. As an amateur writer (currently on my first novel) i look to people such as published authors, writers and publishers for inspiration and i am pleased to say that you are on my list!
Lucinda xx
