I am a retired NYPD Detective Sergeant and former Commanding Officer of the Bronx Cold Case Squad and author of the Criminal Investigative Function: A Guide for New Investigators published by Looseleaf Law, Inc. The book is currently required reading for law enforcement officers in the State of New Jersey.

I am an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and in my spare time I write my own Blog The Cold Case Squad http://www.coldcasesquad.com which covers missing persons, homicides, police related issues and anything related to true crime.
