I fell in love with this book as soon as I started reading it. I highly recommend it to everyone I know that reads this type of book. I plan to pick up the next books in the series as soon as I can.

As the second book in the series, Eve of Destruction delivers solidly on the action and mystery front, but continues to excel with its layered and nuanced portrayal of the central characters. As with Eve of Darkness, I found myself continuing to think about the story long after I had put the book down. This is urban fantasy with an edge that is difficult to describe.

I loved this book so much I'm going to ask the library system I work for to buy it as well as the rest of the trilogy. I can't wait for the next 2 books. No need to go into the storyline as the other reviewers have already done so. This is just such a fresh take & so action packed that it's a must read for anyone that enjoys this genre. Hats off to S.J. Day, what a great first book!

Utter Perfection, I wanna have it's babies. Can't find fault with it nor can I come down from the bookgasmic high it induced. This is a not a test. Buy, read, and pimp this book to others, as long as there's breathe left in your body.

though this entire book all i kept saying was, " oh i like her!". she was thrown into a religious and supernatural war head first and still kept her head together. everything in this book seemed fresh. from the main plot, to the supernatural world created. i can't wait for the next one.

This is my first ever review so bear with me. I like to read horror and supernatural type books and collect vampire books. I enjoyed reading "Eve" and will look for the two following books scheduled to be released.
