About this author

I grew up in a suburb of Washington DC and was lucky enough to have a childhood full of imagination and adults who understood just how precious a child’s imagination is.

I've been writing in one form or another since roughly the age of seven and have stacks of journals that hold my thoughts, dreams and plot outlines for more books than any author could ever actually write.

I left the DC area at age 17 and went to college in a small town in rural Indiana and experienced what can only be described as culture shock. After eventually adjusting to the wide spaces, cornfields and lack of city life, I settled in to finish out my bachelor’s degree.

Ever since I can remember, strawberries have been my favorite fruit. Seriously, I was that little kid who would go nuts over them in the grocery store, shoving my face full of them when we went to pick them ourselves and my default ice cream choice was always strawberry-related.
