Daniel A. Helminiak was ordained a Catholic priest in Rome, earned a PhD in theology at Boston College and Andover Newton Theological School, taught at the graduate Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, earned a PhD in psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently associate professor of psychology at the University of West Georgia. He is a fellow of the American Association for Pastoral Counselors and is licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Georgia.
