Buy UNRELENTING Unrelenting:A Northwoods Myth By Travis Ludvigson
Unrelenting puts a modern day twist to a far older legend. As I began reading, I felt immediately comfortable with the cast. I found the author’s portrayal of each character easy to take in, believe, and adopt as truth. This... Read more of this blog post »
My plan is to write a Nadia/Jack novella for 2015. That’s a personal project, which means I can’t say 100% because if something contractual comes up. that has to take precedence. But it’s my plan. I’m toying with dual POV. I’m not sure I’m ready for 100% Jack, but I could manage 50% :)
My good friend over at pastelninja asked me to write about Banned Books this week. Pastelninja and I became good friends talking about books. We have similarly over-sized libraries. We are passionate about the stories we love. And we have been known to talk an ear bloody trying to convince said r...Read more of this blog post »

In July I wrote a post about groups of cyclists conducting races on our country roads. When I looked into this problem it appeared the cyclists had (apparently) gained police approval.

I’m not very good at all the things you’re supposed to do to be more productive. I check email first thing in the morning and then continually throughout the day. I jump from task to task and I read the news five times a day.
But I do try to be outcome-focused, and I appreciated this perspective f...Read more of this blog post »

Many of you who have been following this blog know that I, much like a method actor, often inject personal experiences into my writing. The opening scene of Blood in the Past, where Jillian and Mel are mugged, was based on my own mugging (I was the muggee, not the mugger, of course). A colorful gy...Read more of this blog post »

I've been spontaneously writing short (or very short) stories lately. Dunno where they come from. I think it's time I start on my next book? Is that what my brain is telling me? Anyway. Rereading them reminded me of something I have heard for the first time at Chuck Palahniuk...Read more of this blog post »

I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m more of an audible reader/writer – I don’t tend to visualize stories as I read them/write them. I hear them in my head, instead (one reason why I rarely bother to read to stories aloud when I’m editing them. Since I hear it as I write it, reading aloud is re...Read more of this blog post »
